114 The Esplanade · Surfers Paradise QLD
LOCATION
We sit on The Esplanade — the strip where Surfers Paradise faces the Pacific — in the middle of the noise you came for. Walk in off the footpath and the room tightens: neon, screens, bar rail, kitchen noise from the pass, the same energy you feel when the coast flips from day beach to night out.
There is no tucked-away side entrance pretending we are something smaller. Bar 114 is a working sports bar: full Western menu and Asian fusion in one kitchen, skewers and cocktails at the bar, tables that fill when the strip fills. If you are planning dinner before a show, a night that starts at the beach, or a table before the crowd peaks — book ahead and we will hold you in the run.

The venue
One room, one bar, one kitchen. You order across both sides of the menu — schnitzels and parmas next to fried rice and honey chicken — without splitting the night into two restaurants. That is the point of the address: Esplanade energy, premium-enough plates, volume without losing the edge.
Getting here
By car
Surfers Paradise is built for nights out: street parking, hotel garages, and multi-storey car parks within a short walk of The Esplanade. Allow a few extra minutes when the strip is busy — weekends, school holidays, and event nights fill the precinct fast. If you are driving in from the M1, follow signs to Surfers Paradise and The Esplanade; the address sits on the beach side of the strip.
Public transport
The Gold Coast's light rail (G:link) runs north–south through the central corridor with stops at Surfers Paradise and Cavill Avenue — both a manageable walk from The Esplanade depending on where you land. Buses serve the suburb from Broadbeach, Southport, and the airport corridor; use your preferred trip planner for live timetables.
On foot
If you are already on the sand, along Cavill, or staying in a beachfront hotel, The Esplanade is the natural east–west spine — follow the lights and the foot traffic. We are built for walk-ins from the strip, but a booking still wins when every table is taken.
Hours & contact
Opening hours: daily 5pm–10:30pm.
Call or email for tables, events, or anything that needs a human before you walk in. We read enquiries in the order they land — include your date, party size, and any timing pressure.
Around us: Cavill and the beach to the east, hotels and late-night energy to the west — the Gold Coast at full volume. We are one room in the middle of it.
